About
In a small town in Mercia, five people of an Agit-Folk persuasion were drawn together. Two were united by their love of folk, punk and each other. They were joined by a seasoned, fretless folky, a soul sister with an unusual collection of instruments, and a noisy oddball upstart who couldn’t stop tapping away. Together they’ve built a musical shelter, somewhere their inner punks, fueled by the broken political sphere, could finally be contrasted with their folk heritage tendencies. In the town where the only thing that leaves is the 5 Hills and the tourists, the band took their name on the way out and onwards to their path of folk, punk and truth. 5 Hills Out are: Rebecca Liverman: Alto & Soprano Saxophone, Accordion & Vocals, Chris Clay: Drums & Percussion, Ben Liverman: Guitar & Vocals, Dave Coxon: Bass Guitar & Vocals and Alex Mills-Bell: Baritone Saxophone, Mandola/Bouzouki
