About

Adla is a Bosnian-born singer-songwriter, pianist, performer, and music educator based in Malta. Originally from Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, her musical identity was shaped by emotional storytelling, classical piano, and the soul/R&B artists who made vulnerability feel powerful. After growing up in Bosnia, Adla moved to the United States, where she studied Music Songwriting and Production, developing her craft across voice, piano, guitar, composition, and contemporary songwriting. She later built live performance experience, including piano and vocal performance work, and now continues her artistic path in Malta through teaching, performing, vocal development, and original music. Her sound blends piano-led soul-pop, contemporary R&B, and cinematic indie singer-songwriter emotion. Influenced by artists such as Alicia Keys, Toni Braxton, Lauryn Hill, Adele, H.E.R., Lizzy McCalpine, Ethel Cain and Olivia Dean, Adla creates songs that feel intimate, melodic, and emotionally direct. Her single “Catch Feelings” is the first introduction to a bigger project, which revolves around the self-transformation that happens from deep, vulnerable, and real love.
