INDIE ROCK

About

Andy was signed to Atlantic Records with his old band, No Hope In New Jersey. Andy was the lead singer, a guitar player and principal songwriter. No Hope In New Jersey released the album “Steady Diet Of Decline” which culminated in the band playing download festival and on the main stage at V Festival. It was exciting times with interviews on XFM where they met Paul McCartney in the lift on the way to the interview. The video for the first single Narcolepsy was played regularly on MTV2 and Radio. When the band split, Andy was at a loss, but one day he received a parcel from his uncle: the biography of Jimi Hendrix. The days Hendrix spent as a sideman fascinated Andy, and inspired him to learn more about his craft as a musician. This was the start of eight years’ apprenticeship playing various styles of music in bands all over the world. Including cruise ships, theatres and hotels. In 2015, Andy returned to England. His apprenticeship over, he decided to stay, and work on his own material. This has resulted in 4 albums and 5 EPs. Work of Fiction, Dedicated to Nobody, Materialist Reductionist and Without Polarity.
