About

Mysterious London-based Indie Rock outfit Dream On recently released their new single ‘Falling’. The single tackles issues with anxiety and depression through enchanting vocals and beautiful melodies, exuding professionalism across all aspects of performance and production. The track has already attracted thousands of melodic Rock lovers across many Spotify playlists and this is just the beginning. Albeit no strangers to the music industry, Andy (vocals, guitars), Howard (bass) and Mike (drums) present ‘Falling’ as their first original release under the newly formed band Dream On and the underground Rock scene have gained a worthy fresh addition, whose story is yet to be fully unveiled. Emotional, haunting and seamlessly levitating on the edges of established Folk traditions, the track boasts gentle guitar work and uplifting rhythm, fueled by late-90s Indie tropes, backed by fine contemporary production. Influenced by those who have dealt with bullying and sought an escape, the soaring vocals fuel the personal lyrics and aim to relate to and inspire those who have felt weighed down by the negative thoughts and actions of others. “I'm falling down again and I'm falling away from you. I'm falling and I'm to blame, and I can’t find where I'm going to”. Originally from the Midlands, Andy Gio first started playing the guitar when he was only 9 years old, writing his own music and displaying a raw talent in songwriting and singing. A single originally co-written when he was 16 and struggling with personal issues, ‘Falling’ is a composition with immense significance, finally resurrected with the help of experienced session musicians, live performers and close friends Howard and Mike. Andy has previously experimented with solo projects, while also touring as back-up guitarist for The Voice UK finalist Susan Lovejoy and supporting the likes of Jeff Buckley’s The A.M. Combining their diverse musical backgrounds and unique approach, Dream On enter the UK Rock community with a bold debut that is bound to make waves across the scene. Influenced by the likes of The Killers, Kings of Leon and Fleet Foxes, Dream On are set on making a name for themselves with more captivating music this year. Follow their socials for future releases and potential gig announcements in the upcoming months.
