About
Formed in Leicester in 2008, Anglo-Polish outfit Final Coil combine the intensity of post-metal with the conceptual depth of progressive rock to offer something compellingly unique. To date, the band have released three full-length albums, with the most recent being The World We Inherited. Released via international label Sliptrick Records on Jan 16th, 2024, it was recorded at Parlour Studios in Kettering with the legendary Russ Russell (Dimmu Burger, Napalm Death, Raging Speedhorn, Wildhearts). The World We Inherited marks the final chapter in a trilogy that began with 2017's Persistence of Memory (released via WormHoleDeath Records). The acclaimed trilogy has received stunning reviews from both national and international media, with features in Metal Hammer, Zero Tolerance, Powerplay Rock & Metal, Rock Tribune and many more. The band has been no less successful in the live arena, playing with artists ranging from OHHMS and Boss Keloid to Shonen Knife and Marky Ramone.
