About
Established in 2014 as the performing name of producer and multi-instrumentalist Chris Shackleton, Glass Sands has released three albums drawing on an eclectic influence of rock music, electronica and folk. His third album, Only Shadows, released on June 19th 2026 and features another diverse palette of sounds drawing on indie, shoegaze and even 1920s jazz. The album itself draws on themes of memory, nostalgia and letting go of the past. It is equal parts melancholic and inspiring with its lead single "Widows" urging its listener to reject the cold comfort of days gone by for the prospect of new and exciting experiences.
