Icer Ender is independent composer, guitarist, and producer Austin Poole. After leaving the military to pursue music, small but significant successes marked the Tennessee- based artist’ path and added momentum to his journey. He earned a letter of recommendation from the Recording Workshop. A early work found a place on a compilation released by military-only label, To The Fallen Records. And after winning a local radio station’s rap contest, he was able to further his musical education at Musicians Institute in Hollywood, CA. After a time spent in bands and writing for others, the switch was made to become a solo artist. Beginning in 2019, work began on constructing a full-length 11-song album. While grinding out his recording chops and improving his song writing were both goals, the main focus was staying authentic to the sounds in his head. “Basically, I tried to create metal that non-metal listeners might find interesting.” With a dark and mysterious image being displayed throughout, the music features well written songs with driving guitars, pounding drums, epic choruses and intriguing melodies. The typical clean versus screaming vocals set the metalcore landscape, but it is marked with a gothic feel. Listeners can feel genre blending performances as each track stays within its own metal framework. The anticipated full-length album, Watching Fall, the debut album by artist Icer Ender, will be out on all streaming platforms November 14th, 2025.
