About
Los Popularos, were an early ‘80s staple in the Vancouver music scene. Fronted by singer Bill Shirt (Active Dog) and Juno Award winning songwriter Art Bergmann, the line up was rounded out by other local notables including Zippy Pinhead (Dils) as well as Tony Bardach and Gord Nicholl (Pointed Sticks). Can’t Come Back features the band’s original commercial releases paired with demos, out-takes and live tunes, shaping a 16 song compilation that includes 7 unheard songs.
