About
Leigh aka MerakianSoul is a South African singer and songwriter based in Berlin, creating music that blends blues, rock, soul, funk, and indie influences, rooted in emotional honesty and storytelling. Her earlier work includes the Closer2Free EP and vocal contributions to Heaven and Her Demons, the debut album by BlackBeak, which was selected for the Dawn Patrol Music sync roster in 2020. In recent years, Leigh has moved into a more personal creative chapter, marked by intimate solo performances and the release of her debut solo album Sacred Journey — a reflective body of work shaped by change, resilience, and inner growth. Alongside her artistic work, she is a mother of two and sees music as a space for healing, connection, and quiet transformation.
