NEWMA — Ukrainian indie pop-rock artist, singer-songwriter, and actress based in London. NEWMA is a powerful voice in the Ukrainian indie pop-rock scene, known for her emotionally charged performances and cinematic songwriting. She began her professional career over 10 years ago, touring extensively across Ukraine with her band and completing six national tours. Her music, blending vulnerability, resilience, and poetic depth, became the soundtrack to her country’s most heartfelt stories, with several of her songs selected as official soundtracks for Ukrainian films. Since the start of the full-scale war, NEWMA has moved in Germany than in London, dedicating herself to charity concerts in support of Ukraine. She has performed over 150 live shows across Europe and the UK, using her music as a voice for resistance, healing, and solidarity. One of her most significant recent releases is the anti-war single “No Right to Kill People at All”, which has become a central part of her mission to promote peace and human dignity. NEWMA’s live performances are raw, honest, and deeply moving, often described as “a voice that heals.” Singing in both Ukrainian and English, she continues to craft music that transcends borders, blending indie-pop, rock, and cinematic elements to tell stories that matter
