Odd Sounds Project is a music group created in May 2021 by 4 musicians from the South-East of France. Elena Lisa on Vocals Lex Bono on Guitar Stan Sherman on Bass Schwartz Cocktailof on Drums. Lex, Stan and Schwartz have known each other for more than 20 years and have already had several projects together. Elena met them through a musician's advertisement site during the Covid period. Coming from different backgrounds and musical styles, they decided to combine their experiences in a single musical project. Despite living far apart, they still manage to meet up in residence several times a year to write songs which are then finalized remotely, each member working in their own home studio. The group finds its own creative paths by composing unique songs in self-production. Over the years, they always strive to stay at the top of their craft by mastering the latest mixing technologies. Working together combining everyone's skills, they produced their first EP and released it on November 20th 2021. It is since available on all streaming platforms. Their lyrics evoke both dark and light themes, drawing on the complexity of the human beings, with its joys, its sorrows, its hopes; the torments of couples relationships, of friendships, of daily relationships, which can be both conflictual or passionate, are all sources of inspiration. They are also inspired by current events, especially world conflicts slowly destroying our world. But always, what will stand out, despite the darkness, will be hope. Their first album "No Need To Look Back", released on January 20th 2023, is available on all streaming platforms. A first single, "The Crushing Pain", accompanied by its video clip, has been broadcast on YouTube since January 20th 2023.
