About
Paisley Jones writes from the fault lines—the places where certainty slips, emotions sit heavier than they should, and you’re left trying to make sense of yourself in real time. In Stone, set for release early next year, comes from that tension. The record folds together quiet loneliness, the need for comfort without resolution, an unashamed hunger for something permanent, the temptation to become whatever someone else wants, and the unmistakable ache that comes from loving deeply and losing anyway. Her debut single, “Heavy,” acts as the centrepiece of the EP, setting the tone for what listeners can expect: songs that are honest, unfiltered, and full of feeling. After two years refining the material, Paisley recorded the EP with producer Caradog Jones over five focused days at Echo Zoo Studios. The result is a set of tracks threaded with vulnerability, frustration, desire, and a muted, persistent anger humming underneath. In Stone doesn’t promise clarity. Instead, it offers a clear-eyed portrait of the mess itself—tender, conflicted, and entirely unguarded.
