About
Pop the Bear is a Texas-based singer, songwriter, guitarist, and producer rooted in blues, grunge, and shoegaze — and increasingly drawn to something older. His latest project, The Dark Bard, channels ancient mythology through baritone vocals and guitar, moving across continents and centuries to find the stories that still have teeth. Influenced by Nick Cave, Peter Gabriel, Townes Van Zandt, and Alice in Chains. The Dark Bard is out summer 2026.
