In 2022, PulsR was named 5th best newcomer of the year by the Sonic Seducer Magazine. The project´s name PulsR consists on one hand of his first names Pascal and Reiner and the Italian translation of his surname Guzik (Pulsante, Italian for switch) and describes on the other the recurring theme of seeing beauty in ending things.
