About

Road Volta was formed in late 2014 by musicians from the 90s Alicante music scene. In 2016, they debuted with a narrative project called "End of Paradise," an audiovisual work where images interact with their live music. In 2017, RV recorded their first self-released album, which was launched on digital platforms by PizzaPop Records. In 2019, they released their second album, this time in Spanish, showing maturity in composition and style, as well as a more polished sound. After this second album, the band released several self-produced singles, which began to shape what would become their own eclectic style, based on sounds and nuances typical of the rock, folk, and post-punk scenes. In 2023, Road Volta released a single recorded at Órbita Sonora studios and produced by the British producer Nick Brine, who is known for his work with bands like Oasis, Stone Roses, and Bruce Springsteen. RV is currently at the same studio finishing a new EP, produced and mastered by Brine, while also working on what will be their third full-length album.
