South Social - 5 piece indie rock band + special guest Peggy (The electric ukelele) from Saaaaaf London Tanya, our singer and songwriter, began writing our songs on a Ukelele in the middle of the lock down capturing her thoughts and feelings in lyrics and songs: We added a metal drummer (Frazer), a mean bassist (Amit) and two power guitarists (Rich & Dan) to become South Social! These songs traverse real life topics like a breakdown of a relationship, fetishization and microaggressions received from men, the one night stands you want to remember (not the ones you want to forget) and your partner’s ex who keeps popping up and liking their Instagram posts.
