About
Spitfire Tides are an indie/alternative band that melds hard-hitting lyrics and mesmerising melodies with a propensity for punk energy. Formed in January 2020 while studying at university, the band were brought together by their mission to create a community for the lost and lonely through all things music. Lead singer Josh sings about the real and often darker realities of life. Lead guitarist and hard rock enthusiast Howard brings the rocking riffs and sizzling solos, while bassist Callum provides the jazzy bass lines and drummer James provides the beat and pulse of the band. The band have played some of the southwest's most iconic venues as well as their viral set at Bristol harbourfest. In 2023 the band stepped up to the big stage playing at Lakefest. 2023 will see the band go into the studio to work on their debut EP
