About
For Manchester-based producer Tao Mitsu music is about translating emotions into groovy beats and touching musical landscapes. Inspired by both raw, industrial architecture and ambient music, Tao has always dreamt of sharing the ever-present, nostalgic vibe that follows him with the wider audience. The debut single Evaporate is a combination of bassy, beat-driven techno floating on a lush, nostalgic soundscape. What you’re about to hear is easily distinguishable dancefloor-ready signature sound, but producer’s primary goal is to take listeners on a less predictable musical journey full of longing and dreamy, yet powerful melancholic melodies. Tao Mitsu music should resonate well with the fans of Bicep, The Range, Moderat and Kiasmos. Tao plans to release a number of tracks in 2023 with the goal of reaching new listeners, record label and finally, playing his music live. Evaporate marks his debut as an unsigned music producer.
