About
The Light Show are a 4-piece indie-punk band based in Leeds, influenced by the likes of Fontaines DC, Wet Leg, Hives, Arctic Monkeys, Wunderhorse, Blondie, Amyl and The Sniffers, The Subways, DMA'S, Soft Play, The White Stripes, David Bowie, Cabbage, The Strokes, Pigeon Detectives, Idles. Our music is fast-paced, riff-driven, sing-a-long indie-punk with catchy melodies, massive guitar and bass hooks and relatable lyrics!! Their sound and style is most comparable to Arctic Monkeys and The Subways but The Light Show definitely offer something new, something you haven't heard before. We love our live performances and so does our growing fanbase, they're full of energy and we leave nothing on stage! Previously we have supported Toploader as well as 'Antarctic Monkeys' and ‘The Complete Stone Roses’ in front of a 2 full houses at 'The Wardrobe' in Leeds. We are writing and recording new music this summer with a busy gigging schedule planned for the Autumn.
