About
The Open Flames are a psychedelic singer-songwriter indie rock band comprised of old friends from Sleepy Kitty, Harvey Danger (of the hit 90s song, “Flagpole Sitta” heard at the opening of “Peep Show”) and Say Yes, Do Nothing. The Open Flames’ new album, “Same Time Next Year”, was recorded in biannual sessions in London. The single, “Falling Up 1” is an acoustic demo of a full version of the song recorded for the album. For listeners of: REM, Lou Reed, The Pixies, The Lemon Twigs and Sonic Youth
