About
The Word66 doesn't just play rock ’n’ roll; they deliver it with a thunderous sense of purpose. Founded in 2018 by veteran guitarist Steve Scott, the band—featuring powerhouse vocalist Carlos Zemma and drummer Lance Crane—has mastered the rare art of "message-driven rock" that hits with a heavy-metal edge and a radio-ready hook. Building on the success of their EP Rock & Roll Preaching, the band’s latest record, 37 Miracles, features the return of legendary bassist Danny Miranda (Queen, Blue Öyster Cult). Their track record is undeniable: nearly every single they’ve released, including the debut "On the Way to the Promise Land," has climbed to #1 on international radio playlists. Featured worldwide on numerous radio shows and interviews they've also earned impressive accolades, finishing in the top 10 of several high-profile music contests, including America's Next Top Hitmaker, sponsored by Rolling Stone Magazine. Their epic power ballad, "I'll Be There," even held its own reaching #27 on the SMR Charts alongside legends like Foo Fighters, Evanescence, Shinedown and Aerosmith. With their latest track, "Sky Is Falling," The Word66 explores the urgency of a world in chaos, proving that light can shine through the heaviest riffs. As Scott puts it: "We like to think the we are just adding some light to the darkness."
