Junk Records Recording artist Tinfoil ® heralds from Northwest Ohio had a song featured in the 2022 movie, "Obstacle Corps," and has a listing on IMDB for various movie soundtracks. Tinfoil's new album, "Better Off Alone," is currently generating a buzz through radio, podcasts, social influencers, and media in Brazil, Mexico, Chile, France, Spain, Italy, Uruguay, the United Kingdom, and the United States. A feature shared on Tinfoil by Rock and Birra Media out of Chile on January 20, 2023: https://rockandbirra.com/tinfoil/ Tinfoil was formed in 1991 by lead vocalists, and songwriters, Dr. Dave Harms and Cher Bibler and performed with Kid Rock, Sponge, Weezer, and many others. Originally billed as an Alternative Rock band during the "Grunge" movement in the '90s, Tinfoil's musical styles are very diverse, ranging from Americana, Rock, Punk, to Metal. Their live set focuses on their rock/hard rock selections, which go over well with Midwestern United States audiences. Tinfoil has played shows in Mexico, Cuba, and Poland and is preparing for a potential Latin America tour this summer. Tinfoil also participates in the local Northwest Ohio/ Southern Michigan scene donating a set to 's Project IaM Maumee's, "Acoustics for Autism '' yearly charity event for the last ten years. Additionally, Tinfoil donated the song "Lara '' to the AFA CDN release. Dr. Harms has his own local music radio show, "Homegrown Toledo Creatives" on WAKT, 106.1 on Wednesday nights. The show has aired for the past three years and features a new Tinfoil song every 2 weeks in the Songwriter challenge portion. Tinfoil's current set includes their take on the classic Jefferson Airplane song "White Rabbit" and a mixture of original songs from their various releases. Tinfoil's live show has been documented on the Tinfoil "Live at the Depot" release recorded at the Historic Train Depot in Harms and Bibler's hometown, Tiffin, Ohio available on all streaming services. Cher is the only member still in Tiffin as Harms is in Toledo, Shaun (drummer) is from Bowling Green, and Krystal(ba ssist) is from Dundee, Michigan. Tinfoil also performs acoustically every other Thursday at Howard's in Bowling Green.
