WAGE – Band Bio It all started at a summer job during high school—where Scott Russell (Guitar/Vocals), Roeland Myer (Bass), and Jason Spellman (Lead Guitar) discovered they shared more than just a knack for bending the rules at their local movie theater. They shared a deep passion for music. Soon after, drummer Paul Rizzotto entered the picture, thanks to another off-the-books job connection with Roeland (and a few more ignored rules). Over the years, they honed their craft, performing with each other and other musicians in projects that brought them L.A. FM radio play, TV performances, endorsements, opening gigs for major acts, and international tours. In 2022, after a long hiatus, they reunited to form WAGE, an alt-rock band with an old-school pulse and a modern bite—rooted in Brea, California. Their debut 2023 EP, What Are the Odds?, is a full-volume blast of redemption and rhythm. The title reflects the unlikely, yet destined, return to their creative core—and to each other.
