About
Shaped by the powerhouse voices of Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson and Amy Winehouse, 22 year old DOMINYKA brings a timeless 90s-inspired R&B/Soul sound into the present. Writing every lyric from her own experiences, she crafts music that resonates with honesty and emotion, echoing the styles of Mahalia, Snoh Aalegra and Muni Long. Her journey began early — at just 13 she turned the chairs of will.i.am and Danny Jones on The Voice Kids. And after writing hundreds of songs behind the scenes, she began releasing music in 2022 creating her own footprint in the music industry. DOMINYKA has taken the stage at iconic venues and festivals including Ronnie Scott’s and Latitude, building a reputation for captivating live performances. With strong support from BBC Introducing, BBC 1Xtra, music blogs and countless independent stations, plus two NMG Award nominations for ‘Best Female Solo’, DOMINYKA is quickly becoming one of the UK’s most exciting R&B voices. Her latest single Bad News marks a new chapter — soulful, firm and unmissable.
