About
Finnish singer-songwriter Esa Linna (He/Him) will release the single “I Can See Myself” on November 8, 2024. The song, with its catchy chorus, blends power pop, indie & alternative rock and classic rock influences as well as strong and rich vocal harmonies. The melancholic, atmospheric yet hopeful “I Can See Myself” is Linna's first solo release since 2013 debut solo album “This Is Who I Am” (2013) and the Esa Linna & The Dawnbreakers single “You Give Me Headache” (2014). “This Is Who I Am” received rave reviews in Finland and abroad, and has been sold in the US and Japan. The album features Roger Joseph Manning Jr. of Jellyfish fame (Green Day, Johnny Cash, Ringo Starr, Blink-182). Linna's solo songs have been heard on FM radio stations in Oregon and Hawaii, among others, in the United States. Esa Linna & The Dawnbreakers performed at the 2015 Liverpool International Pop Overthrow Festival. In 2013, Spanish filmmaker Carlos Atanes made a music video for Linna's song “Meat Market, which may be shocking to sensitive viewers.
