Estranhos Românticos is back! After a break to redesign the band (with a new singer and guitarist from the Northeastern Brazilian city of Maceió), the tropical-indie band from Rio de Janeiro releases "Breve História" on Thursday 04/13. "Breve História" is a kind of short, light and fast-paced tropical-punk-indie song and sets the beginning of a new phase for Estranhos Românticos, formed in 2014. It is the first song composed and released by the band with the new singer and guitarist Victor Barros, who joined Mauk Garcia (bass), Luciano Cian (keyboards) and Pedro Serra (drums) in 2022. With three albums already released - Estranhos Românticos (2016), Só (2020) and Último Sol (2021) - the sound of Estranhos Românticos mixes indie rock, Jovem Guarda, new wave, Tropicalia, post-punk and psych-rock with romantic and existential lyrics. The band is part of the Rockarioca collective, founded in 2020 with 25 of the most interesting rock artists from Rio.
