About
Injured, scraped, with protruding edges, that's how one could describe the sound of Mud And Asphalt. Nevertheless, a very intimate voice, full of vulnerabilities and disillusionments, comes to 'disturb' the noisy pop/rock tracks of Mud... Listening to it, we find ourselves immersed in several decades of electro pop-rock, mixing forefront cutting bass, shoegaze guitar riffs that sometimes bleed, and hefty analog synths that squeak, creating psychedelic atmospheres. Forget the plastic perfection of traditional songs; you might be (we hope) pleasantly surprised by the deconstructed arrangements of some tracks or by the absence of verse/chorus structure, giving the impression of songs under construction.
