About

Ria D is set to release her uptempo new Garage/House record ‘Deeper’ on Friday 15th of July 2022. The pumping new single from the well-established DJ comes after the success of her last record ‘Trust’ which sat at number 12 of the Official UK Club Charts for 6 weeks, as well as achieving number 1 on the U.S King of Spins Charts which is voted for primarily by industry professionals. ‘Deeper’s polished production was engineered by Barry Diston (Fidget Studios) who has previously worked with Sony BMG, Universal, Spinnin Records and Ministry of Sound. The Bedford-based artist has been playing her signature sound for over 10 years now with previous material having featured on well-established labels Ministry Of Sound and Helter Skelter. Written over the pandemic, the new track aims to bring a positive 90s, old skool vibe. The focal feeling of the record revolves around someone expressing themselves whilst going through a rough patch in life and the song describes the relatable feeling of missing another person to help get through tougher times. Ria D states: In all these difficult moments, never give up. You have the power to stay strong.’’ Not typical of the dance music genre Ria D writes the lyrics and melodies of her tracks as well as performing the vocals which shows her affinity for classic, catchy songwriting. These skills are what gives her the ability to have a backlog of music ready to put out in 2022.
