About
Not simply just making music but rather transmitting interdimensional frequencies in disguise as songs, the cosmic mystics and sonic explorers - The Vast Oddity - turn the strange into sound and the sound into something stranger. The Vast Oddity is an eccentric, illuminating music duo based along the sun-drenched coastline near Durban, South Africa. Known for their avant-garde, psychedelic soundscapes, they channel cosmic wisdom into musical form, blending eclectic influences with a fearless spirit of experimentation. Authentic and otherworldly, their sonic journeys explore the outer edges of consciousness and creativity. With three albums under their belt — the latest being the 11-track odyssey PARACOSMIC RENDEZVOUS — and singles like The Pathless Path and Tortoise Totem, The Vast Oddity continues to carve out a unique niche in the musical cosmos. Their work is less about genre and more about experience: a rendezvous with the infinite, translated through sound.
