About
Underwire have always been about live performance, , since they started playing their original songs back in 2010. Formed in the collision of Clash and Pixies tribute bands, with members from such Wellington bands as Wazzo Ghoti, Shanakie, Proxies and Head like a Hole, Underwire play it, with a distinctly fun, alt-rock sound. Underwire's first wide release single ' Gravity' came out May 2023 and is available on Youtube, Bandcamp and a host of streaming platforms.
