About
I’m BUZZKILL JOY. a genre-fluid lil punk in pink from the north of England that always aims to energise, inspire and surprise. My rules are: difference is mandatory, meaning is a must, and constant evolution is necessary. fusing genres like rock, indie, pop, punk, folk, hip hop and anything else that takes my fancy, I’ll keep you second guessing and surprised with every new track I put out - and that’s a buzzkill guarantee 😎 I've been drumming since I was 10, song writing since 15, guitar since 2020, and singing since 2021. I waited and worked for almost 2 years on my BUZZKILL moniker to make sure it was fully ready to fly out of the gate. I've got my debut, 6 song concept EP coming out later this year featuring characters and a cross-EP storyline, combining about a dozen genres and dripping with true topical meaning. it embraces topics like money and politics, to fulfilment and depression/ suicide.
